As we welcome in a new year, it seems we have to welcome change as well. At the PRG, that truism has hit home as we are contemplating a very big change – one that hasn’t happened in 10 years.
We took over the reins of the PRG 10 years ago as an opportunity to get to know the people in our amazing community and to continue the legacy that Mike Mihaljevich, started almost 28 years ago, for “Connecting Communities and Empowering Families.” The PRG had just transitioned from an annual guide to a quarterly publication. We went from newsprint in a “tab” format with limited color positions, to a full-color, newsprint quarterly magazine with a glossy annual. In addition to being one of the few privately owned magazines, and one that still direct mails magazines directly to families, the PRG also has a website and an e-Edition for even easier access.
Now we feel it may be time to hand over the reins to new ideas and energies and to continue the legacy of the PRG. We hope that someone is ready to be the next owner of the PRG. Let’s keep this valuable resource for our community.
We take this opportunity to thank all our readers, our community members who contributed such wonderful and informative articles, and a special thanks to our advertisers who made this venture possible. If you have benefited from our community magazine, we’d love to hear from you. Perhaps the idea of being part of this wonderful product resonates? Give us a call!
